Bioma Travel Sea Turtle Field Courses takes place on gorgeous beaches in welcoming coastal communities at the north Pacific, north Atlantic and south Pacific coastlines of Costa Rica. As a great biodiversity and ecological field lab, Costa Rica has historically been regarded as a sea turtle hotspot. In fact, a great majority of sea turtle distinguished researchers at one point in their careers have trained in Costa Rica. In our 12 days Expedition you will be able to do hands on sea turtle field work with experts, learn about sea turtle biology, ecology and conservation. You will be trained on scientific techniques to collect and analyze data on nesting or foraging sea turtles under the guidance of local project staff. During the entire Expedition you will get the chance to discover incredible landscapes, get immerse into the local culture and experience a wide-range of exciting and life changing activities.

What is included in the price?

Our 12 DAY SEA TURTLE FIELD COURSE & EXPEDITION COSTS INCLUDE:

• Full ground private transportation within Costa Rica.

• All accommodations for the duration of the Expedition.

• Three tasty and healthy meals per day.

• Full time expert leader per group of participants during the entire expedition, 24 hours/day staff from country arrival to departure.

• Materials and research equipment to work on the project.

• National Wildlife Refuge permit and entrance.

• Cultural activities (local cooking lessons, art craft making, guided explorations and traditional games among some).

• Unforgettable adventures (Waterfalls exploration, traditional farm experience, breathtaking beaches,…)

Our 3 DAY COSTA RICA ADVENTURE:

• 1 Day Full Adventure activities with local professional and certified operator for zip-lining, river tubing, hot springs and mud bath at the Rincon de la Vieja National Park and Volcano.
